Patty Chan started learning the erhu at the age of 12. Her most influential teacher was virtuoso George Gao. Today, she has decades of experience in teaching, performing, and recording. She has taught at universities, community groups, and individually. The age of her students ranges from age 8 to 80. It is her goal to spread the love of playing the erhu to all that desires it. |
